''What Color is the Light?'' is my short booklet on color theory for understanding the various temperatures of light and interpreting the concept into an organized palette layout of paint pigments. It is applicable for all forms of painting, pastel, watercolor and oil painting.
Based on decades of painting and studying the Masters, I show how to observe warmer or cooler light as it is falling on a subject. Knowing which pigments are naturally cooler and which colors are warmer is the key to choosing paint mixtures.
